All about Cheshire CCC Senior Cricket (men's)

50s, 60s & 70s Men's County Cricket

A brief history...

Cheshire began senior (over 50s) cricket in 1990 playing in the ECB national tournament under the guidance of Norman Halsall, ably assisted for many years by Paul Freedman.

In 2009 Andy Hurworth and Ken Croften added over 60s sides, again playing in a national competition. In 2014 Ken added an over 70’s side.

The 50s have two sides and play in the Northern Division of the ECB National competition and although the standard of cricket is high, we encourage interested players to contact the current Chairman, Captain or Hon Sec (details below) about the possibility of playing.

The 60s have two sides in the Western Division of the National competition with scope for a wide range of abilities and again, new players should get in touch.

If you're still playing and are over 70,  many congratulations!  We'll be pleased to hear from you.
