Success for Cheshire in the second leg of their East Anglia tour as they overcame Suffolk by 81 runs at delightful Mildenhall.

Almost an exact reversal of the game at Norfolk 24 hours later, Anderson returned to hit 40 and bag 5-24.

This time Cheshire made the running to set a target of 237, their 236-9 including a sparkling 70 for the returning Henry Dobson. Alex Money made 26 and Pat Ashling 23 as well as a late 20 flurry from Jack Williams.

Good all-round bowling from Cheshire stifled the Suffolk reply and a mid order collapse saw 30-1 become 62-7. Great control from Anderson and Williams (2-17)was well supported by Luke Young, Rob Lord and Andy Dufty to give Harry Dearden his first Cheshire win, as they got home by 81 runs.
