Cheshire 246 & 199, Oxfordshire 189 & 119-3
It's all in the balance on the last day following another enthralling day's cricket in the Western Division Championship at Alderley Edge.
Resuming at 132-5, Oxfordshire progressed to 189 as the home bowlers looked to maximise their advantage. David Wainwright took 4-58 and Charlie Barnard 3-36. Max Mannering closed on 29 after his first innings five wickets.
Cheshire then set about compiling a winning total - the general feeling being somewhere around 250 may be challenging but with the ups and downs of this match, it's difficult to tell.
A total of 199 against some nagging bowling in mid afternoon seemed to set a decent challenge with Wainwright making 51, Rob Sehmi 41 and Will Evans 34. Chav Prahal took 4-21
Cheshire's 257 lead looked useful with Oxfordshire starting their chase without opener Jamie Harrison who suffered an unfortunate injury in the field. Whether he's fit to bat on Tuesday remains to be seen.
By close though, sensible and productive batting saw them through to 119-3, Harrison Smith unbeaten on 78.
It'll be an interesting third day from 11.00am on Tuesday.
