Cheshire had a fruitful first day in their final Western Division 1 match of the season at Wimborne.
Batting first against a Dorset side needing a win to stave off relegation - and hope Berkshire beat Herefordshire - Rob Sehmi's side amassed 385-8.
Before the game Nick Anderson received his Cheshire cap and promptly celebrated as top scorer in the innings with an unbeaten 88 after Ali Chughtai's good form continued with 64 and Rob Sehmi 73.
Chris Sanders then struck twice in the last session to make it Cheshire's day as the hosts closed on 33-2.
Play resumes tomorrow (Monday) at 11am.
