CHESHIRE COUNTY CRICKET CLUB
After the all-action T20 and KO Trophy games in the first part of the season, time now for the 'purists' as Cheshire take part in the NCCA Western Division Championship.
First off it's 2021 champions, Oxfordshire who comprehensively beat Suffolk in last year's four day final. The game runs from Sunday 3 July to Tuesday 5 July, starting at 11.00am each morning. Close of play is approximately 7.00pm.
A reminder that there are two divisions in the west and in the east. Cheshire are in Western Division 1 along with Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Herefordshire and Dorset. Cheshire play Oxfordshire at Alderley Edge then Herefordshire at Brockhampton (24-26 July), Berkshire at Nantwich (14-16 August) and Dorset at Wimborne (21-23 August).
The Western Division winners then play the Eastern Division winners in a four day final at West Bromwich & Dartmouth CC.
Free admission at Alderley Edge and car-parking available. Bar and refreshments available throughout the day.
