Cheshire CCC 1st XI Fixtures 2023

Cheshire CCC 1st XI Fixtures 2023

8 Nov 2022

2023 will follow the same format as 2022 with the season kicking off on 16 April (one week ahead of the Cheshire County League).

T20 group double headers - five counties per group - will determine four sides to meet at Final's Day. Cheshire will face Shropshire, Staffordshire, Cumberland and Northumberland.

The KO Trophy will also see four groups of five with the winners and runners-up going through to quarter and semi-finals with a Final's Day at Wormsley. Cheshire play Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Shropshire. With a bank holiday at the end of May, Cheshire will play on the Sunday and Monday at Norfolk and Suffolk respectively.

The Championship season continues with four three day games. Cheshire are at home to Devon and Herefordshire and travel to Berkshire and Oxfordshire. The winner of the Wester Division 1 will face the winner of Eastern Division 1 in a four day final in September.

There will again be a 'showcase' match on Sunday 30 July against a first class county. The opponents are to be confirmed.

Venues will be confirmed in due course.
