Cheshire CCC Head of Cricket, Pete Babbage's excellent efforts over the last couple of decades were recognised recently at a special lunch.

Pete (and long-suffering Di) can now look forward to more peaceful summers with the chance to enjoy some cricket rather that race around ensuring we have the best team possible on the field.

Pete and fellow committee members raised a glass or two at Alderley Edge and Pete received a framed memoir to remind him of his time 'in office'.

Fear not though, he'll be prowling that boundary next year!
