Cheshire 381 (87 overs) & 261-8 (60.5 overs), Berkshire 174 (47.3 overs) & 75-3 (19 overs). Berkshire trail by 393 runs.

After the highs of day one, it got even better for Cheshire on the second day of their Western Division 1 game with Berkshire at Finchampstead.

With Berkshire resuming on 55-3, the Cheshire bowlers really had the bit between their teeth. And with the hosts on 120-7 before a late flurry saw them to 174, it could've been even better.

All rounders - Andy Jackson's outstanding 5-60 and Chris Sanders 3-32 - led the attack to leave Berkshire with a first innings deficit of 207.

Opting not to enforce the follow-on, Cheshire then went in search of quick runs  - Henry Dobson adding to his first innings 70 with a debut century. He struck 121, well supported by Luke Young's second fifty of the game (52) and Joe Cooke (39).

Cheshire declared on 261-8 leaving Berkshire the tall order of 269 to chase.

Cheshire then again grabbed three wickets at the back end of the day with Sanders, Cooke and Young taking one apiece.

Berkshire closed on 75-3  requiring a further 393.

All eyes on the weather on the last day as Cheshire look to force the win.
