All set for Bank Holiday double - team news

Cheshire start their 2023 50 over campaign this weekend with a double header in the east.

Rather than travel twice in three weeks, they'll face Norfolk at Manor Park, Horsford (just outside Norwich) on Sunday 28 May and move on to face Suffolk 24 hours later at Mildenhall.

After the miserable weather during their T20 campaign which saw the side unable to play five of their scheduled eight games and eliminated before the final two, the forecast seems better this time round. 

With the Bank Holiday weekend affecting availibility and Matt Carter back with Nottinghamshire, there's a number of changes to the squad with ex-Glamorgan man Joe Cooke, Neston's Matt Strong and Alderley Edge's Ben Kohler-Cadmore in line for debuts.
