Cheshire 374-6 (50 overs), Lincolnshire 245 (38.2 overs).
Cheshire won by 129 runs.

It was a day of tumbling records at Chester as Cheshire swept Lincolnshire aside to set up a KO Trophy semi-final with Shropshire.

An astonishing 183 from Neston's Will Evans - a county record - set up a county record score of 374-6.

Evans' innings included nine sixes and 19 fours in the sunshine in front of a large crowd on a day to remember.

His total surpassed the previous individual highest - 168* by Warren Goodwin at the same ground two years ago.

"It was an incredible performance," commented skipper, Rick Moore. "It was up there with the best I've seen.

"He probably had time to get a double hundred but put the team first to pile on a huge total".

Evans and Calum Rowe (56) added 138 for the first wicket, Moore making 35 and Luke Robinson 30.

Lincolnshire's reply was always behind the required rate , Bilal Shafayat top scoring with 61 as Lincolnshire managed 245, with Luke Robinson taking 3-41.

With Shropshire winning at Norfolk, Cheshire now travel for their semi-final on 1 July, the other being contested between Devon and Suffolk.

And it's a quick return to action for Cheshire - again against Lincolnshire as they travel to Bourne for a T20 double- header next Sunday (17 June) searching for a place in Final's Day in August.

This was the team.
