Cheshire in semi-final at Keswick this Sunday

Cheshire play Cumbria for the second week running, and the third time this season, when they travel to Keswick this Sunday (11am, 26 June).
The winner of the game will take on Berkshire or Oxfordshire who face off at Wargrave CC and the final will be at Ipswich & Copdock CC on 19 July.
Sam Perry's side know Keswick well having been defeated on a soggy Sunday last month in the group stages of the competition.
With Cheshire finishing runner-up in Group 1 (to Cumbria) they were destined for an away quarter final (duly won against Norfolk) and then an away semi.
Parking is limited at Keswick.
Game 2:Cheshire 196-7 (20 overs), Cumbria 190-5(20 overs).
Cheshire kept their NCCA T20 Super 12 hopes alive with a dramatic fightback against Cumbria at Nantwich, bouncing back from defeat in the day's opener to win the second match by six runs.
After a frustrating first game, Cheshire responded in style, inspired by a stunning return from Pat Ashling, who marked his first county appearance in two years with a brilliant 102.
With one double-header left - against Northumberland in two weeks - Cheshire now know that winning both games would send them through to the next stage.
It had been a testing build-up for the county, with injuries continuing into Saturday afternoon and several players unavailable.
In bright sunshine and with Nantwich looking immaculate, Cheshire were left to rue missed chances in the first contest.
Cheshire's chase quickly faltered as they slumped to 78-6.
The response in the second game was immediate.
Cheshire struck instantly when Dan Wilson removed Fallows with the very first ball of the innings, but Cumbria appeared to be cruising thanks to a superb 121-run second-wicket stand between Tom Fraine (97) and Wade (46).
But Cheshire found another gear at exactly the right moment.
It was a victory built on resilience, big-match contributions and a refusal to let their campaign drift away.
Next up, it's the same opposition, different tournament.

Double trouble at Burslem despite Perry ton

Cheshire resume their NCCA T20 campaign this Sunday (14 June) with a double-header against Staffordshire at Burslem CC.
After sharing the spoils with Shropshire in their opening Group 1 fixtures at Didsbury, Harry Dearden's side head to the Potteries looking to strengthen their push for a place in Finals Day.
Cheshire showed both sides of their T20 game in the opening round.
Confidence will be high, however, following last Sunday's impressive KO Trophy quarter-final success over Norfolk.
Now attention switches back to the shortest format, where every point could prove crucial in the race for qualification.
Staffordshire will provide another stern test, but Cheshire travel with momentum, confidence and plenty of belief as they look to continue an encouraging start to the summer.
The first game is at 11am, it's free to get in and refreshments are available all day.
The second game will see the sides compete for the 'Bailey Gill' Trophy - one of the quirks of a Cheshire/Staffordshire clash.
Established in 2017, Cheshire President David Bailey and old Staffordshire foe Peter Gill agreed any game between the two sides (one selected if a T20 double header), should be contested for the trophy.
Staffordshire are the current holders following victory at Nantwich last year.
Cheshire booked their place in the 2026 KO Trophy semi-finals with a commanding 58-run victory over Norfolk at Sprowston CC, overcoming early adversity before producing a performance full of character and resilience.
Making their first visit to the impressive Norwich venue, Cheshire arrived with a reshuffled side.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Cheshire quickly found themselves in trouble.
Norfolk's bowlers struck regularly, never allowing the visitors to settle.
What followed transformed the match.
Harry Dearden and Kevin Carroll came together amid the chaos and produced an innings-defining partnership of 118 for the seventh wicket.
As their confidence grew, so did the scoring rate.
The Norfolk attack, so dominant in the opening stages, suddenly found itself under pressure as Dearden and Carroll took control.
By the time Dearden departed for a superb 69 and Carroll followed for an equally valuable 77, the complexion of the game had been completely altered.
With runs on the board, Cheshire's bowlers seized the initiative.
Henry Dobson, Corrin and Will Valentine applied the early squeeze, keeping Norfolk behind the required rate and forcing the hosts to take risks.
Norfolk never managed to build the momentum required to threaten the target.
Corrin led the attack with an outstanding 3-35, while Brooks claimed 2-33 as the hosts closed on 203-7, 58 runs short of their target.
The victory capped a hugely satisfying week for Cheshire, who showed tremendous character after a demanding schedule and a gruelling cross-country trip the previous evening.
Attention now turns to the semi-finals, where Cheshire will once again travel to Cumbria.
