After 10 years in charge, Cheshire's Captain, 'ALBERT' Hall retired as Captain after the last County Match of the 2011 Season v Oxfordshire at Alderley Edge with a Victory and a Half Century.

COACHING LEGEND RETURNS TO NEW LOOK DEVELOPMENT XI MANAGEMENT TEAM
Cheshire Cricket's popular and successful Coach, Peter Hancock, has been engaged alongside Matt Sharp as Manager, and Ross Dixon (far right) as Captain, to lead the Cheshire Development XI into a new era following the retirement of Steve Amison and Chris Murphy. See the 2012 Fixtures

DEVELOPMENT XI FRIENDLY AGAINST LANCASHIRE SECOND XI IS CANCELLED

The Development XI's first game of the season against Lancashire's Second XI at St. Annes C.C. under the captaincy of Ross Dixon (pictured left) was cancelled because of the bad weather.

Development XI Friendly against Durham Cricket Academy

The Development XI friendly against Durham Cricket Academy at Consett C.C. was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Development XI Friendly against Warwickshire U19s

The Development XI suffered a 1st innings defeat in a two-day friendly against Warwickshire Under 19s at Tattenhall C.C. on the 4th and 5th of July.

Development XI foiled by the Weather

The Development XI's Match v Staffordshire at Bignall End was abandoned without a ball bowled.
A deluge at Stockport caused the abandonment of the two day match v Lancashire U19s, with Cheshire on 129-6 (Ollie Law 37 not out).
The next match is against Worcestershire at Macclesfield on Fri 27 July.

The Development XI beat a strong Worcestershire combined team by 4 runs at Macclesfield C.C. on the 27th of July.

Cheshire County Cricket Club Golf Day
The Golf Tournament planned to be held at Heyrose Golf Club on Friday 28th September has had to be postponed.
It will be rescheduled for next year.
