Tripathi and Jones debuts for Cornwall match
By Jim Law

Bramhall's Vishal Tripathi and Toft's Rob Jones will make their debuts in the Cheshire side to face Cornwall (Sun-Tues 22-24 June) at Alderley Edge in a three day Unicorns Championship match.

Tripathi, a Unicorns player has also played for Northamptonshire whist all-rounder Jones starred for England U19s during the Winter and is a product of Lancashire's Academy.

Both are part of several enforced changes with player unavailability and injury stretching Danny Wood's options. Unavailable for various reasons are Khalid Sawas, Warren Goodwin, Chris Tipper, James Duffy, Ash Davis and Jack Williams.

Harry Killoran and Calum Rowe also return as Cheshire look to bounce back from their first Championship match when they managed a draw despite being outplayed for most of the match against Herefordshire.

"We're all buoyed by the fantastic KO Trophy win last weekend," said Woods "and it's a great opportunity to blood some exciting new talent."

Play starts each day at 11.00am, admission is free and refreshments are available.
