Cheshire v Herefordshire, Quarter Final, Unicorns KO Trophy at Chester Boughton Hall,
Sunday 15 June 2014 (11.00am)

After topping Group 3 of the Unicorns KO Trophy, Cheshire are rewarded with a home tie against Herefordshire in the quarter finals - the same side they've just drawn with in their first three day game.

The 50 over a side match takes place at Chester Boughton Hall, with the winners set to travel to either Suffolk or Devon in the semi-finals.

Cheshire last reached this stage of the competition in 2012 when they lost out to Dorset and the competition has proved something off a stumbling block since they last reached the final, at Lords in 2007.

Victories over Cumberland and Shropshire, with washouts against Northumberland and Lincolnshire saw James Duffy's men earn their place and a great opportunity to progress to the semis.

A bumper crowd is expected at Chester where Duffy is set to return to the side which is also expected to feature several Chester-based players. The action starts at 11.00am, admission is free and refreshments will be available throughout the day, including a hog roast. There'll also be a bouncy castle for the youngsters.
