AGM 2012 – a brief report

 

 

The Annual General meeting of the Cheshire County Cricket Club was held at the Golden Pheasant in Plumley on the 19th November, 2012.

 

The President of the Club, Tony Percival, chaired the meeting.

 

After 31 years of service as Honorary Treasurer, Graham Hall (Pictured left) had decided to stand down and his place was taken by Keith McGuffie. (On the right) The posts of Patron (David Briggs, the Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire), President (Tony Percival), Chairman (John Pickup), Vice Chairman (David Bailey) and Honorary Secretary (Derrick Hastings) were unchanged.

 

The Club Chairman thanked Graham Hall for his invaluable and unstinting efforts for the Club over his period as Honorary Treasurer and presented him with a gift as a token of the Club’s gratitude and the esteem in which he is held. He also presented Graham’s wife, Jean, with a bouquet of flowers to thank her for all the help she had given to Graham and to the Club over the years.

 

Committee members Chris Murphy, Elise Scrimgeour and Rob Sproston were elected for two years and Matt Sharp was elected for a one year period.
